SocialMediaCamp London is a BarCamp style event covering topics surrounding blogs, podcasts, moblogs, community, using new media cleverly, marketing ethics, social networks now and in the future. The first event was held on 4th October 2008, and the second will be on 25-26th April 2009.

About the organiser

Vero Pepperrell is the key organiser for the first and second SocialMediaCamp London. She is a social media & online marketing consultant, blogger since 2000 and all ‘round geek gal. Having previously gained experience working with a number of online companies as marketing & community manager, she now helps businesses of all sizes launch & grow blogs and build relationships with their users.

SMCLondon events are a work of passion (she doesn’t make a penny from them) and while they’ve been known to keep her awake at night, she continues organising them for some reason!
